Wow! What a powerful truth. People often forget that the largest portion of the team is the followers, so if they are working together it allows the leader to concentrate on future plans. Dr. Brown has unearthed a forgotten fact, which is any team sports calls for a team effort not just a leader’s effort. The bible even tells us that we are co-labors with Christ Jesus, meaning we as His followers have a very important part to play in taking the gospel to the world. Jesus said this to Peter before He departed “follow thou Me”. Dr. Brown has declared a biblical principle that will help me as a leader, but more importantly as a follower. Thank You

Dr. Brown, when I worked for 1-800-flowers.com, we were placed in teams and you could see those who really did not want to be a team player. There were certain things that "Priority" had to do, but some thought that it was too much. For me, I really liked it because you had a chance to show that you could do your assignment without putting the whole team behind. I think about as being a team mate in this army. We must work together, to me that means praying, fasting, cell group, coming to church and giving of myself to make sure that I am carrying my own plus if I have to, help carry someone elses until they can understand their part. I really like this post because I can see us in Christian Joy Center doing that very thing.

This was good and so true which applies in all areas of our lives. We have just gone through these very points at work. You may get your part done but did you understand the importance of helping THE TEAM complete their part? It will take more than 1 faithful person to do teamwork. We must allow the Teamwork move from church work to our everyday life. Dr. Brown I love your last statement of the 12 disciples of Jesus sacraficed their dreams so that we can be redeemed to live ours. Thank you Jesus! We too must die to self.

A question how does a great follower know when he or she is under bad leadership, If that leadership is the only leadership the follower knows? Also can you whip a poor follower into a great follower against his or her own will?
