yes dr brown, I do know how mauch the american people will receive from the stimulus package. We should receive about $13 to $14. dollars. I watched the huckabee program and received a lot of information. Thie people voted this man in because of his lies. they just wanted someone who would tell them something that they really wanted to hear. I really do not believe that presidents do not understand how much authority they really have. All of this funny money is just taking us into further ruin. I pray alot for this country because honestly, I knew that he would not be good at his job. I will continue to pray for he and his family and all of our leaders that they may seek wisdom. That American dream is not obtainable for a lot of those working (2) jobs americans.

I think politicians regardless of you voting for them or not are like a deck of cards in a poker game you have to make the best out of what you were delt.we all have to make choices and take chances.The only thing I believe that truly makes a difference in each and every one of us is prayer.The power of prayer to make it through what ever comes our way.staying close to God having shelter asking for strength and wisdom in every day events keeps us safe and proves God said he would do what he said he would when we call upon him.We cant change who’s in office but we can seek the kingdom of God first, God is whos in charge of it all.

I listen to the news every morning and I often wonder the same thing, are the American people paying attention. I was flabbergasted to learn that this “stimulus” bill was passed without being read. We are encouraged to read before we sign. What do we say when our leaders, the people we elected to represent us don’t read before they sign. You are held accountable for signing on the bottom line regardless if you read it or not. I wonder what will happen when our leaders will be held accountable for their actions.

Avararge americans are overwhelemed with information about what the problem may be: or who may be to blame. However: no one explains a lamems term breakdown: on how to stop it. Media delivers the bad news: as if to say; you; America; can do nothing about it. I heard something about America borrowing money from raddical muslim; under sharrea laws. The bible says; “The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.” (Proverbs 22:7). While other countries are experiecing revivals: we the country that was founded on the word of God; are living like cowards. There are very few leaders, men and women in government; or the church; who are willing to rock the boat, and make waves. this is due to the fear mongering and the liberalistic agendas of a very influential few. A man in pakistan converted from islam to christianity, and received 7 months of toture. he was finally released; when the muslims realized that the man was a true believer of Christ Jesus. Who cut in front of my good old U.S.A. ?

This comment is so true. We need to save more, spend less, quit leveraging our companies 40 to 1, and keep governments out of “free markets”. The government is part of the reason why we are here at the present point today as they were pushing the buttons of such lenders as FRE and FNM which are now nationalized and still doing what the government wants them to do. American government needs to understand that we are deleveraging and it is a painful process. The equity markets have showed us trimming some 52% off the S & P since its 2007 highs. Our market was destroyed IN PART by the government being involved with ridiculous regulations, forcing lender’s hands and now with raising government debt by huge levels without even reading the bills. Ignorance is what we are seeing.

Freedom requires diligence. Americans are not being diligent. The stimulus package is nothing more than a placebo designed to make people feel like our government is working to help us so that we will spend money. Any action our government takes that does not reach the heart of our economic woes is no action at all.

I depend on God for my stimulus package! He is not a man that he should lie.

I have to say no the American People are not paying attention, nor were they paying attention when it came time to vote. I don’t like to say this but I beleive we have raised alot of shallow Americans, that allow the media and television movie stars to tell them how to feel and what to beleive in. They think that a”nice looking family with a degree from Harvard can run the country. I think they forgot anyone can get a degree, but can they put into action what they studied? Can they make decisions for a nation? They say we are who we run/ or make friends with take a look at the Presidents friends who are they what have they done?? Mafia/underworld related. He is a very good actor in the public eye,he is somebody;’s puppet making it look as though he is a giver by helping in the food kitchen in Chicago giving back to his community. Well I will continue to pray that God’s will be done in this country and He will see fit how to use Mr. President Obama to do His Good Will in the United Sates. No doubt the $12.00 I will be receiving my union will eventually take in hiking the dues again. Everytime I get an extra pay increase they come along and take it. Unfortuantely I work for the state and it is mandatory I belong to the union. And they say I live and work in a “FREE Country” Free to make choices…….

So true so true. Fear is fueling this package and negativity is running rampant. The money you would get each week will get sucked up in gas cost for your vehicle. For the change that was talked about one thing has not changed, using fear, not hope and faith, as a motivator.
