I definitely fell victim for having self pity when things weren't going well. Since meeting my husband and attending CJC all that has changed. I am grateful for the simple things and when a "bad" situation presents itself I force myself to see the good and pray through it. I've become THANKFUL for the little things and in doing so it has made all the difference. Thank you Lord for all that you do, I love you. Wow! We the sub-company were told that we were safe. Being the person I am I was constantly encouraging others that the job is not our source, but God, to the believer. Two weeks later I received my termination letter. Honestly speaking, I was beyond being upset. Then I remembered what I said, 'the job is not my source.' Talk about eating your own words! Nevertheless, I am reminded and confirmed through this blog that I am still blessed and actually I thank God for my 'promotion letter' and realize that I am truly blessed and my blessings count. I am grateful to God that I know Him and the I have a growing desire to know Him more and to do His will. I am grateful that even though all is not as I would have it to be, things are much better than last year. Finally, I am grateful to God that because of Him I have a hope and a future.
